Tennis coaching · Keller & North Fort Worth, TX
I'm Robert Novotny, a former ATP-ranked professional (career-high No. 274 in doubles) and a nationally top-30 ranked singles player at Drake University in NCAA Division I. I coach juniors, high school players and adults across Keller and North Fort Worth, one court and one stroke at a time.
About your coach
I played professionally before college and reached a career-high ATP doubles ranking of No. 274. I then played NCAA Division I tennis for the Drake University Bulldogs in the Missouri Valley Conference from 1993 to 1997, where I was nationally ranked in the top 30 in singles. That path taught me what it takes to build a reliable game: clean technique, smart patterns of play, and the habits that hold up in a tight third set.
Now I bring that experience to players in Keller and North Fort Worth. Whether you're a beginner learning to rally, a high school player chasing a varsity spot, or an adult getting ready for a USTA league season, every lesson is built around your game and your goals.

How it works
Send a message with your level, goals and the days that work for you. I'll reply to set a time and court.
In the first lesson we hit every stroke, play a few points, and talk about what you want to improve.
You get a simple plan with two or three priorities, so each lesson builds on the last one.
Regular lessons, drills to practice on your own, and match play to test it all under pressure.
Service area
Lessons are held at these courts. We'll pick the one that's most convenient for you when you book.
Your racquet, court shoes, water and a hat. Balls are provided. If you don't have a racquet yet, let me know and I can recommend one for your level.
Lessons cancelled for weather are rescheduled at no charge. In the Texas summer, early-morning and evening slots are recommended.
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
